Repeat or First Time Grade 12 Maths or Physical Science
Master Maths is a registered IEB NSC exam centre.
How it works
You can either rewrite Mathematics and Physical Science, or take these subjects for the very first time with Master Maths.
Master Maths offers this tuition in partnership with the IEB.
We provide students with the lessons, year mark, exam preparation and a venue to complete their exams. Learners do not need to redo all the Grade 12 subjects desired for a NSC, or enrol as an exam candidate at a high school.
Receive lessons at any of the 150 centres across South Africa. You will be able to write your NSC final exams at specially designated Master Maths centres in every province.
After completion, you will receive an UMALUSI subject certificate indicating the mark you’ve achieved for your NSC Grade 12 Mathematics and/or Physical Science. You can then present this to tertiary institutions where it is accepted as part of the student’s NSC.
Commitment
Learners will be required to attend lessons at a centre (we recommend a minimum of 10 hours), as well as studying at home.Monthly cost
The monthly cost for 2024 is R3430* per subject (*additional admin costs not included).If you are unable to commit to the time and cost implications, our programme is not for you.

Who will benefit?
Adult learners who have previously completed their Grade 12 with a National Senior Certificate (NSC). NSC is what learners receive who wrote their Grade 12 at a Department of Basic Education (DBE) or Independent Examinations Board (IEB) school.
Possible adult learners will have an NSC from a DoE or IEB school and:
- You did Maths and/or Physical Science at school and want to improve your marks for one or both of these subjects.
- You did not have Maths or Physical Science at school and want to do these subjects for the first time.

When to enrol
Registration for 2024 is now open
To get good start, you are encouraged to enrol as early in the year as possible.
The deadline for enrolment is mid-March 2024, but for the best chance of success it’s better to enrol sooner.
